India won the inaugural edition of T20 world cup. Indians were the underdog in the tournament. They went in with a young side. There were no big names like Sachin, Dravid, Laxman and many others. Dhoni and his boys proved their point. They defeated Pakistan in a nail biting encounter to win the finals.
