ICL organised the Edelweiss trophy between 8 teams. The new team was Lahore Badshahs. This team was included as a part of this tournament only. It was not there for the initial tournament which Chennai Superstars won. Hyderabad Heros won this tournament in a bowl out against Lahore Badshahs.
